“Our mission statement…

Royal Family Academy, is a Christian Nursery, Primary and Secondary school located in Wuye, Abuja, Nigeria. It is a day leadership school that stands out for its commitment to excellence and Christian leadership development. With a rich history spanning two decades, the school has consistently provided a nurturing environment for pupils and students to thrive spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. Its state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated faculty members ensure that each student receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for the challenges of the modern world.

RFA's commitment to continuous school development triggered a collaboration with the On-Mission Diagnostic team to assess how well RFA's operations and programmes align with its stated mission, and by so doing, determine the level of mission congruence. This was achieved through a survey of the school's constituents using online questionnaires for a duration of four weeks, starting from August 5, 2021, and concluding on October 5, 2021. The survey collected data on areas such as academics, admissions, budget, development, extracurricular programs, facilities, human resources, and governance.

During the duration of the survey, the school's leaders were excited to have the team evaluate the level of congruence between the school's operations and its mission. Knowing that the opportunity would provide valuable insights into how well the school's operations align with its mission.

Through OMD's comprehensive evaluation process, it was established that RFA is robust in delivering on its promises. The survey further validated our school's mission statement by providing significant insights into mission congruence.

The results of the OMD survey have been instrumental in guiding the school’s strategic planning and enabling it to make necessary improvements and positive changes in various areas of the school. Taking into account the feedback from alumni, we have recognized the need to invest in acquiring more modern academic facilities that align with our school's mission which will greatly enhance our ability to fulfill our goals.

We greatly appreciate the thorough approach taken by the OMD team throughout this valuable exercise and highly recommend other schools to engage their services as well.
