What We Do
As specialists who partner with schools and school consultants, OMD’s team provides an in-depth and psychometrically reliable program for assessing the congruence between a school’s mission and its everyday operations. Using professional diagnostics, OMD is designed to leverage valid data to confirm areas of mission-congruence in a school as well as indicate where, and the degree to which, mission-incongruence may exist. From here, OMD works with the school’s leadership to outline a plan for achieving full mission-congruence, leading to increased buy-in from school stake-holders across all constituent groups. Further, in this way, OMD serves as an excellent complementary tool to assist with a school’s efforts in securing and maintaining its accreditation as well as offering a solid foundation for long and short-term Strategic Plans.

OMD’s program is designed to deliver the best overall assessment and subsequent diagnostics regarding how well a school’s policies, programs and actions are ensuring that the school stays congruent with its stated mission.

Stephen has spent over 35 years in school leadership as a Head of School as well as President of the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS). Additionally, Steve is the acting founder of Orbis Learning Community.
Dr. David Wells

David has spent over 35 years in school leadership as a Head of School and is acting founder of Global School Consulting Group in Quito, Ecuador.
Bobby Welch
Program Development / Partner
Bobby has spent over 40 years in school leadership as a Head of School including helping found Hilton Head Preparatory School in Hilton Head, SC. Bobby served as the statewide private school executive in Louisiana and served on numerous Accreditation Visiting Committees nationally and internationally, and is acting co-founder of Private School Colloquium. Bobby also served eight years in Administration at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, leading its first regional Accreditation (SACS/SAIS).

OMD Certified Consultants
As a follow-up to the MAP, OMD is proud to partner with distinguished school consulting agencies in working with schools, to ensure strategic solutions and effective implementation for a school staying on mission. Each consultant goes through OMD’s Board Mission-Congruence Assessment, MAP, and On-Mission Educational Seminar, thus uniquely preparing them to work in congruence with OMD’s findings to ensure a school’s mission-fulfillment success. Further, OMD often is able to match the school with the right consultant given the Diagnostics of the school, staying connected to the process throughout.
Rhonda is an experienced educator with over 30 years demonstrated history of supporting students, teachers and staff through learning management systems and student information systems. As the Vice President of a family company, Orbis Learning, LLC and RSquare Educational Services, LLC, she works as an independent contractor.
